Morty is a comprehensive database of immersive attractions. You can think of us kind of like IMDB for escape rooms.
Our userbase uses Morty not only to discover new experiences to do, but also to track the experiences they've done in the past.
As a result, every day Morty users rate attractions which are both open and closed.
For example:
A new user who joins Morty today often starts by marking all the attractions they've Done and leaving ratings.
This helps them remember what they have done, and liked the best, and also helps Morty recommend attractions to them to do in the future.
Will bad ratings on old attractions affect our business?
It's unlikely. In most scenarios Morty users won't see closed attractions unless they specifically seek them out. And negative ratings on these experiences won't affect the scores on your currently open attractions.
If owners are searching for their venue/attractions by name they may see closed attractions (so you might be inclined to think it's going to show up for Morty users). But most Morty users will discover you by browsing the list, and they won't see any closed attractions or venues.
