How do Morty Ads work?

More about Morty Ads

Written by Andy Bauch

Morty Ads increase your visibility on Morty, and increased visibility has been shown to increase booking likelihood.

A few features of Morty Ads:

  • Efficient: To use your spend efficiently, ads aren't shown to a user who has done that attraction already.

  • Geotargeted: Ads are shown to users searching nearby, or with parameters that might relate to your attractions.

  • Pay per click: You pay when a user clicks your ad, not when they see it.

Where do Morty Ads appear?

Ads appear in search results, in attraction listings and in the 'You might also consider' section of attraction pages.

Sponsored listings appear both on the Explore screen and in the 'You might also consider' recommendations widget.

💡 Inclusion in top 10 results on Morty doubles the odds of a booking.

We automatically run ads against all attractions at your venue. The attraction's cover image is used as ad media.

How are ad credits used?

When a Morty user clicks an ad your credit balance decreases. Repeated taps within a short period of time are ignored.

Each click costs about $1.25.

How do I start?

MortyPass Partners can start Morty Ads from the Business dashboard. Ads stop for the day when the target is reached.

How do I get ad credits?

MortyPass Partners get credit when they join. Every venue earns credit by referring users to Morty: $2 for each user who joins with your referral code, and $1 for each user we match to your venue by geolocation.
