What does the "Ask for feedback" button do?

What Morty sends to a user when you ask for feedback on a rating, and how their private feedback gets back to you.

Written by Andy Bauch

On the Business Dashboard Reviews page, some ratings show an Ask for feedback button. This appears on Like and Dislike ratings where the user didn't write anything, to allow you to ask for more information and get constructive feedback.

What the user sees

When you ask for feedback Morty emails the user who left the rating:

Subject: The owner of [attraction name] would love your feedback

You recently rated [attraction name] and the owner would love to know what they can improve about their attraction.
Your message is private — it goes only to the owner and won't appear publicly on Morty.

Nothing is posted publicly, and the user doesn't receive your contact info.

When the user shares feedback

The user can choose to:

  • Allow the owner to reply: you can send one reply through Morty.

  • Just share with the owner: one-way. You can read their feedback but can't reply.

And you'll get an email from Morty linking to their feedback, now visible on the Morty for Business Dashboard (Reviews page).

If the player allowed replies, you can write one reply right on the rating card.
